Certainly I have not been posting anything again for quite some time… but now it’s this time of the year again! AFA 2011!!! woooooot!!! Will be there for this three days full and also going for all three Anisong Need to be prepared with lots of energy to swing lightstick and jump around for this! Anyway I’ll post more things when I’m back from this.

Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko

Here’s another light novel series that I’m following and started reading since the first volume.. Well it only has 3 volume now though, and the third one was just out… Anyway, this is novel is titled 「変態王子と笑わない猫。」 “Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko” (Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat)

Yokodera is a high-schooler who has no issues with following his earthly desires. His only problem is that when he does something to satisfy them, his actions are misunderstood and he receives some reward as a result. His biggest desire is to be able to get rid of his good student “public face” and be able to tell his real feelings. One day, his equally perverted friend completely transforms and gets rid of his “impure thoughts”; a feat he attributes to the power of the statue of “the cat that won’t laugh”. According to the rumors, if you give it an offering you can force something you don’t need onto someone else. As he’s making his offering to the statue (a dakimakura) in exchange for getting rid of his instinct to preserve his “public face”, a girl arrives at the same place. The girl’s tired of always expressing the things she feels because it makes her look childish. In order to be more of an adult, she desires to be able to hide her true feelings. Together they pray for their wishes… “for my public face and habit of hiding my true feelings with lies to disappear”… “for my real feelings to stop showing ”… Will their wishes come true? or perhaps more importantly, will they be happy with the results?

So roughly, that was the summary of this novel Well actually that was from the first chapter, as the story goes on it’s becoming quite interesting I guess, he realize that he still need his tatemae (public face), and also interesting things happen with him and Tsukiko trying to get back what is lost and also meeting with new friend Azuki Azusa. I’ve almost finished the second volume, and it’s kinda out of my expectation on what is happening next lol…

And then apparently on the new third volume, a new imouto character is introduced… xD Pink twin tail imouto… APPROVED!!

GOOD NEWS is, this title has just started the serialization in the monthly COMIC ALIVE ^^ A very good thing for me I guess, and I can see the anime coming soon too… Kinda happy that two novel that I followed since the start already got anime… Oreimo and Haganai Now I’m looking forward for this one too xD

I guess you need to either read the manga or start reading the light novel and follow it to understand more then ^^ Enjoy!! and…. One thing I like to say here… I LOVE THE ART~ <3

AKB48 Singapore Theater

Some of you may have heard this, but yeah for those who do not know, AKB48 came down to *scape last weekend. They opened their official shop, had a handshake event and also, performed in a concert! ^^ Read more for more info and lots of pictures~

The events was on 14th May last Saturday, opening of the official shop by three of the AKB48 girls on the afternoon followed by the handshake event afterwards for people that have purchased minimal S$15 at the shop. Lots of people lining up before the shop opened… >w< The following Sunday, the AKB48 girls were having a concert on 3pm and 7pm, it was an awesome experience! It was a very fun weekend, meeting up friends, welcoming the girls at the airport, visiting the official shop, watching the concert, and even lining up is exciting as well! xD

Singapore to host AKB48’s first overseas 3-in-1 concept project
Japan’s top pop idol girl group set to wow youths and J-pop enthusiasts alike with regular theatre concerts and the world’s first AKB48 concept café

Singapore, 3 May 2011 – Whether you are a J-pop enthusiast, or have always wanted to know more about Japanese popular culture, now’s the time to hop over to town for an experience of a lifetime. Japan’s top idol girl group sensation, AKB48, announced today its intentions to develop a multi-sensory J-pop experiential project in Singapore. Starting this month, Singapore has been picked to house AKB48 and their sister group’s first overseas theatre where concerts will be performed on a regular basis, in a similar format to Japan’s. The world’s first AKB48 Café, as well as South-east Asia’s first AKB48 Official Shop, will also be set up in Singapore. This exciting project will be housed at *SCAPE – a building in the heart of Orchard Road designed for youth talent development and a melting pot of youth culture.

Mr Yasushi Akimoto said, “The key to AKB48′s success has been the concept of bringing idols and fans closer through interactions and frequent live concert and events, and empowering the fans in shaping their idols as they evolve. ‘Idols you can meet every day!’ – This is the concept that I hope to bring into Singapore. In addition to the regular concerts, by locating AKB48’s theme Shop and Café adjacent to the Live Hall to make them more accessible to Singaporeans, I hope that they can feel and enjoy AKB48 and better appreciate live concerts. It will be great if fans in Singapore can eventually identify with and see AKB48 as their own idols someday.”

AKB48’s entry into Singapore will kick off with an exciting collaboration that is expected to create new waves in the local J-Pop scene. For the pop group to connect most extensively and immediately with their local fans, local youth hub *SCAPE was the clear choice to house the project.

Ms Lynette Lee, Managing Director of *SCAPE Co. Ltd., shared, “*SCAPE has been the melting pot for Singapore’s youth trends and cultures. Through our ecosystem of facilities, programs and partners, *SCAPE empowers young people to express their individuality and allows them to have the freedom to embrace their passions and interests. Hence, this partnership is a good fit because it will not only let local youth to be exposed to the most current trends in Japan, but also facilitates the fostering of international cultures in *SCAPE.” AKB48’s Singapore concept project will include three components at *SCAPE:

1. AKB48 THEATRE SINGAPORE “Live” – The Akihabara Experience

Famous for their trademark theatre-style sell-out performances in Akihabara, Singaporeans now can also experience the appeal of AKB48’s “live” concerts on a regular basis. Starting 15 May 2011, around 16 members of AKB48 and their sister groups (SKE48, NMB48, SDN48) will fly to Singapore for each concert at the *SCAPE Warehouse. The artistes are expected to be in town for two days in a month, with two performances lined up each day, in 2011. The line-up of the AKB48 members performing will only be released shortly on the official website (www.akb48.com.sg) before each concert. Each ticket is priced at $50 and can be booked on the official website and purchased at the AKB48 official shop. The first “live” concert of the series will be held on 15th May, at 3pm & 7pm respectively.

2. AKB48 Official Shop SINGAPORE – First in South-east Asia

Fans who have been asking their friends and family to buy AKB48 official merchandise can all heave a sigh of relief. The first AKB48 Concept Store in South-east Asia will open in Singapore in May. Members of the public will be able to find merchandise direct from Japan, as well as exclusive limited-edition AKB48 merchandise which are only available at the 360-sq-feet Singapore store.

The Concept Shop will be officially launched at 1pm on 14 May 2011. Lucky customers will have a chance to meet and shake hands in person with selected AKB48 members, who will be there to grace the occasion. . From T-shirts, to pen cases, to photos of your favorite AKB48 members, fans can bring home a slice of the AKB48 experience conveniently and look out for new product arrivals on the official website.

3. AKB48 Official Café SINGAPORE – A Global Debut Concept

The world’s first AKB48 Café will open in Singapore, for fans and J-pop newbies alike to chill out and soak into the AKB48 atmosphere at their leisure. Scheduled to open in the end of June 2011, patrons can expect excellent Japanese fusion food and deserts available only in this cafe. Other highlights include the screening of video clips or messages from AKB48 members as well as related events like Karaoke or Dance contest held on a stage within the café. Lucky ones may even get a surprise visit from AKB48 members during their meals! More details will be shared closer to date.

Haganai Getting Anime Adaptation!!

YATTA! I forsee this coming but still, I feel so happy it’s going to be animated This gonna be great ^^ For those who wonder what is this, Haganai is a short for “Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai” hence, Ha Ga Nai. It’s not me who call this that but I learnt that from Yukachi… xD Anyway, read more for info

So in short, Haganai story is…

Hasegawa Kodaka has transferred schools, and he’s having a hard time making friends. It doesn’t help that his blond hair tends to make people think he’s a delinquent. One day, he runs into his bad-tempered solitary classmate Yozora while she’s talking animatedly to her imaginary friend Tomo. Realizing that neither of them have any actual friends, they decide that the best way to alter this situation is to form a club and start recruiting.

That is how “Rinjinbu” was formed, a club specifically designed for people who don’t have very many friends. As other lonely classmates slowly join their little club, they’ll try to learn how to build friendships through cooking together, playing games, and other group activities. But will this group of relationship-challenged misfits really be able to get along?

I’m really looking forward for this ^^ and also on the end of this month, Haganai Manga Vol.2 is coming out on the 23rd and the Light Novel Vol.6is coming out on the 25th with the extra Drama CD… Can’t wait to listen to it!!

So whoever think this blog is dead, you’re almost correct. Well it’s basically dead for half a year, but I’m planning a comeback since now I’m settled down. Yes, I’m moving forward to the society, graduated and now working… So I’m trying to revive back my blog and do post some more stuff. Look forward for an event report post next week! ^^

Azunyan officially better for licking than Nagi, winning the AnimeSaimoe 2010 tournament!

This year’s anime saimoe tournament, where fans vote on their favorite “moe” loli anime character to lick their monitor screens at, from thousands of preliminary entries, saw a fiercely fought quarter-final match where loli mahjong Maestro Amae Koromo-tan took down Level 5 Cuteness Saten Ruiko, only to be easily whacked down by uber riche loli Sanzenin Nagi in the semi-finals. The other side of the semi-finals saw Nodocchi (Hanamura Nodoka from Saki), who barely managed to win another Kugimiya Rie-loli, Shakugan no Shana’s Shana in the quarter finals, humiliated and taught the harsh reality that in the moe world, bra size means nothing by unstoppable, but always lickable moeblob phenomenon – the one and only reason to keep your monitors clean – Nakano Azusa from K-on!, or commonly called by Yui-senpai and perverted oniichans, Azunyan~. For Azunyan’s fans, the outcome of the final match on 16 October 2010 between rich and tsundere, Nagi and Lick-for-a-better-world loli, Azunyan was only too obvious.

The unbelievers grouped up and backed Nagi’s supporters to overcome the powerful wave of the computer screen-licking, moe hungry army of Azunyan’s supporters, however Azunyan’s flawless victory was inevitable. From the voting chart below, we see Azunyan took an early lead and maintained it until the very end. It was indeed a hopeless race for Nagi’s goons. Albeit, they didn’t do too bad, with the final scores at:

Winner: Nakano Azusa 1516
Runner-up: Sanzenin Nagi 1339

Nagi probably never had a chance, despite all the cheating and rallying at random portals by Nagi’s supporters… then again I’m sure Azunyan’s supporters also coerced random people to join the vote for Her Moe-sty.
On a side note: Last year’s winner, Aisaka Taiga from Toradora! was ineligible for this year’s tournament, which covers only anime still running from 2009 Summer season to 2010 Summer Season

So, Congratulations to Azunyan for her victory, and hopefully, the K-on!! Movie will have plenty of Azunyan’s moments for fans to pause and lick!

Hatsune Miku 3rd Anniversary

Yup this means HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MIKU!!! 8D It’s been three years now since Miku was out on 31 August 2007, time sure flies really fast… It surely doesn’t feel that long since I started following Miku on her first year, on her first anniversary and second one, VOCALOID is also the main reason of me continuing this blog midway when I lost focus, well to put it simply, thank you Miku! and other VOCALOIDs too 8D

I have nothing much to share this time around xD I’m lacking of my Miku figures and the cakes!! Dx But hey, apparently GSC already prepared something to be reserved on this Miku day 8D

Nendoroid Hatsune Miku Absolute HMO Edition!! ^^ I’ve been wanting this since I saw it at the Wonfes 2010.. xD

This super cute Miku Nendoroid is scheduled to be released on December later this year and with the retail price of 4000 yen.

Definitely a must get for Miku fans to add to their Miku troops army… 8D

Looks like they come with an extra face for Nendo Rin and Len and probably that recorder too… xD No need to wait, go preorder them now from Hobby Search! Or your favourite figure shops

And also take a look at this if you haven’t, to know where is this Nendoroid from =P Caution, cuteness overloads!!! 8D

The 2nd Anniversary

So It has now come to this obligatory and self explanatory post, Happy Anniversary Kazenomise! Though obviously I’m late by a day posting this, since the day is 08 August :3 But do read on for a little bit rant from me, I promise it won’t be long, maybe…

I’m not gonna post details on my blog status or anything like that, it’s not that interesting I guess for this deserted blog here… Well at least I’ll just mention about the total visit up to now is already exceeding 600.000, not much growth since the last 500.000 because it takes longer time to reach there and the average visit also dropped considerably, and I guess most of them are just passer by since I’m getting lesser comments now due to my inactivity I guess… =(

Anyway moving on with that, I know that I’ve been lazy nowadays to make even a post, either I’ve lost my passion or I just feel that it has become a troublesome thing to do, but still I’m not gonna stop yet though… =) Starting a blog was quite easy, but maintaining it is harder than I thought :/ Plus now I’m starting to move on with life, graduating now and gonna be in the workforce quite soon I do hope I can still have some time to relax and do stuff with my future job…

Meh, we always have a lot of to do list, putting them down was a piece of cake, but doing what is on the list is harder, especially when you’ve somehow lost your interest…

Maybe I’m just not an avid and passionate blogger, but I do like sharing stuff and stories or news with people, with that reason alone, I decided that I will still keep this blog alive, maybe It looks kinda deserted and no one here, but I will try to post something that is interesting to share on =3

Anyway, cheers from me! I’ll continue enjoying Jakarta before I’ll go back to Singapore next month =D Oh and Happy Singapore National Day! Indonesia will soon follow next week! xD

Vocaloid Figures Coverage In Wonder Festival 2010

Some Vocaloid figures are spotted in the Wonder Festival 2010 Summer earlier today. I really don’t have anything much too say, they’re so damn nice that makes me want to buy them all… Well they have a lot of the other figures as well which I want too… WHAT TO DO! Anyway here they are, up there is Vocaloid Lily by Phat Company scheduled to release on November 2010. Read more for more stuffs =D

Hatsune Miku Koi wa Sensou by Good Smile Company, no details yet. This looks so awesome… and the pedestal is damn big, lol I wonder how much will this cost…

Black Gold Saw by Good Smile Company, also no detail. WANT! DX That saw with the pose look so bad ass 8D Playing pool? xD

Hatsune Miku Tony Version by Max Factory, scheduled for January 2011 release. As previously previewed, it has nice pose, and with the colour now, it looks awesome… 8D

Hatsune Miku Append Version by Max Factory, no details yet. Not to fond of this one, hmm… :3

There’s BRS Nendoroid, so they have Dead Master Nendoroid too now, no details yet on her.

The figmas, the new one is Black Gold Saw Figma by Max Factory, no details yet.

Apart from the Vocaloid figures, the one catch my attention and the one that I would want too are these cute things…

Hinagiku Nendoroid by Max Factory, scheduled to release on November 2010 for 3500 yen. HHHNNGGGHHHHH!!!! Need to get this…

Kousaka Kirino Nendoroid by GSC, no details yet. This tsundere imouto from oreimo is the one series that I’m currently following from the light novel, then goes to manga, and now the anime is upcoming. Really looking forward for it! ^^ Kuroneko Nendoroid is also coming, with Kirino figma too… 8D

For now that’s all, i’ll update it if there’s anything more to add here, if not i’ll just update it on separate post. ^^ Most of them here I do want D: Ugh… Okay, time to work and get more money. XD

Upcoming Vocaloid Figurines By Max Factory

Here are some preview scans of the upcoming Vocaloid Figures 8D Figma Luka, Figma Dead Master and Hatsune Miku Tony Taka Version scale figure. ^^

Figma Luka and Dead Master looks nice and good, but unfortunately I stopped buying figmas, prefer Nendoroid more so I will be skipping on this too I guess.. Though I admit the Luka one looks really nice and cute with the maguro… lol

No price and date yet for Dead Master Figma, for Luka Figma she will be scheduled to release on September this year with retail price of 2800 Yen.

This Miku scale figure by Max Factory looks stunning… I really like the pose and that hair line… Depending on the final coloured version I think I might be getting this. Looks really nice to add to my Miku figure collection.. XD No price and date yet for this one too…
